THE BAND

After writing "Runaway" in the "Power Station" studio, Jon decided to arrange a band.

At first he asked his school friend David (Bryan) Rashbaum. Dave asked his friend Alec John Such who knew Tico Torres from a previous band. The guitarist was Dave Sabo.

Later Alec called his friend Richie Sambora and Richie came to a concert to listen to the band.
He liked the sound... So he went to Jon and said:
"By the way: I´m Richie Sambora and I´m your new guitarist!!!" Jon listened to Richie and he really liked what he heard. So Dave Sambo had to leave and Richie became the new guitarist.

With "You give love a bad name" they wrote their first "Number 1 Single" and
today they are still very successfull with their compilation out of Main-Stream-Rock, Pop and Heavy Metal. Today they sold more than 100 million records and they are one of the most successfull and greatest bands of their time.
