Gaby spent much time of her childhood with her mother living in New York's notorious Chelsea Hotel. Where she and her friends were in trouble by spying on the drug dealers across the hall. But she had many fun with her of that time best friend Tayla. They roller-skate in the hallwaysand and they even convinced a bellboy, to go to a delicatessen during the night to bring them some ice cream
At the age of 4 Gaby started acting in small commercials, but she quickly get tired of the work and made the decision to stop it before she went to kindergarten.
But it was at the age of 6 or 7 when she (according to her mother)heard that Macauly Culkin earned many dollars of his movies. So Gaby took root and gave acting a second chance (which absolutely was the right decison
!!). I really can't say if that was the substantial reason why she carried on acting, cause i think if she had had no fun on it she would not gone on.
Anyway, her film debut was Field of Dreams in 1989. Then she made films like Uncle Buck 1989 or Man without a face in 1993. She also had her "own" TV-Show in 1994 (~Someone like me~)
I think Gaby isn't high and mighty (like some other not worth mentioning actresses). That's another fact, why i made this site on her :) No,she seems to be natural and very friendly. From other sites about her i could gather that she "gives the thumb down" to body piercings, and that she doesn't liked the 70's clothes, which she had to wear in Now and Then (by the way one of my favorite movies!). Oh, right and she can't stand David Letterman ! cause he was nasty and rude to her
Gaby loves reading, writing, rollerblading, dancing and listening to 60's music.
So all in one i think she's a wonderful person!
