This is the page for my English speaking friends!

Some people I met in the last time demanded me to build something for the visitors of my page, who are not able to understand German.

At first an excusion for my bad english, but I hope you can understand it so far ;-)

So I begin:

As you perhaps noticed, my name is Michael Bräutigam. I was born in a small town called "Arnsberg" in the Sauerland in Northrhine-Westfalia. That happened at 27th june 1986 on a very hot day!
Soon I began to like car races, I was a fan of Nigel Manssell and Ferrari, so i liked it more to watch car races in TV than do usual things for young boys like riding my bicycle and fetch some hurts ;-).
My first steps to "Racing" I did on a Bobby Car. I raced downhill the street where I lived, and even at this early moment of my life I was very riskful, so I drove mostly at only 2 wheels through the corners!

Although I liked that very much, nobody had the idea that I could get a bigger vehicle than "only" a Bobby Car...such a pity... so I had to stay at home and watch car races!

When I was almost 15 years old, my father invited me to do some laps in a kart, at the kart track in the nearby Neheim. So I had the first contact with engine-accelerated vehicles at 20th may 2001. The first time I drove a kart.
As I drove not bad lap times (remember: the first time in a kart) I thought: "That's it. Finally you found something that you can AND that you want!"
Because of several circumstances we moved to another town, from Sundern (Sauerland) to Fröndenberg in January 2002.
There I found a "professional" kart club, the "AMC Iserlohn", where I was driving karts from 2002 until 2005. Since 2005 I am more addicted to car races on the Nürburgring, especially the Nordschleife, which doesn't unfortunately mean, that I did some yet. But also watching car races there is pretty cool :)
Furthermore I like the PS2 game "Gran Turismo 4" very much, so I spend a big part of my free time on it! And as you can see at the "Gran Turismo"-page, I am not really lost upon it ;)

Since December 2007 I live in Iserlohn (Sauerland).
