Nic and Tom
The Ballad of Tom and Nic:
When Tom Cruise in 1988 saw Nicole Kidman in "Dead Calm", he begged his producer Don Simpson to cast Nicole for the female supporting role in the movie "Days Of Thunder".
So there was their first meeting.
"We shook hands and I looked down to Tom. It was so embarassing." Nicole is remembering.
So the things went on and then came the day, when they came back from a trip with the Harley Davidson and were holding hands."I wanna spend the rest of my life with you and I'll dissasociate with Mimi.", he had told her. "Then I'll part company with my boyfriend.", was her answer.
So Tom left his wife, Mimi Rogers, who made him know scientology; and Nic left her boyfriend.
Tom had found the woman, with whom he could share his passions - car racing on dirty race courses and skydiving.
So Nic moved into Toms four-million-dollar villa in LA and on Christmas 1990 they married in Telluride, Colorado.
While their marriage was goin on, they adopted two children: Connor Anthony and Isabella Jane.
Nicole always was in her husbands shadow during the 10 years of age marriage. Because of him she didn't wear high heels and also abstained from other things. Nic describes it this way: "I was long time willing to abstain from a lot of things that were important to me during our marriage. But somewhen it didn't go this way anymore."
On February 5th 2001 the dissociation was published. Only a few weeks after the 10th wedding day, which had been celebrated in a big patry, the love was gone - allthough Nic was expecting a baby from Tom. A little time later, in march 2001, Nic lost the baby; Tom still said, it wasn't his child.
On August 8th they were divorced. Nic run out of court yelling. They battled over the 13 million dollar (not sure...) asset. They both keep silent abou the conclusion. They share the custody for their children.
Nic and Russel
They told Nic to have an affair with Russel Crowe. Just because he wrote a lovesong and its leading part sounded omnious like Nic.
But in reality Nic and Russel are just good friends.
"Russel is an old friend of mine, I already knew him, when we both lived in Australia and were just dreamning of Hollywood.", Nic said once in an Interview.
I myself think, Russel should have given her the Oscar in 2002... :(
Nic and Robbie
Nic's and Robbie William's Duett did shut up to the top of the charts. No Miracle:
Robbie Williams is singer in regular occupation and ex-member of Take That and Nic already convinced in "Moulin Rouge" with her talent.
In an interview Robbie praised Nic's smell and they both said to be very exited and nervous when Robbie asked her to sing with him.
"Robbie made it very easy for me.", Nic said in the CD Inlay of Robbie's Longplayer "Swing When You're Winning".
Nic and Ewan
Nic about the rumors: "That's idiocy. With Ewan I had a delightful brother-sister-relationship. We joked a lot and laughed and once we drunk Absinth and after that danced on desks ans chairs like crazy. But Ewan is happily married and has children."
Nic and George
Nic shooted "The Peacemaker" together with George Clooney. In this movie Nic's hair is dark.
The movie was shooted in many placed in Europe, especially in old war ruins in Jugoslawia.
George and Nic get along at once and he spent a lot of time with Nic and Tom.
George was unknown at this time im Jugoslawia. As told to the magazine EMPIRE: "They thought I was Nics and Toms Bodyguard. They came to me and asked: 'Is it okay, if we ask them for an autograph?' It was okay, I took 3 dollar everytime."
Yes, George is a funny one.
BY THE WAY:
Nic lost a bet against George and gave him - as agreed - a cheque about 10000 Dollar.
Nic hat bet with her friend Michelle Pfeiffer that George would be married before his 40th birthday (which was on May 6th 2001...).
George - satisfied Single - in fact did win the bet, but gave Nic the cheque back.
Nic and Tobey
If Nic and Tobey really had a relationship, I don't know and I don't believe. Fact is that there were really cute pics of them in a newspaper.
Nic's press officer said, they both are just good friends, but friends of them say, they'd fit together - "They got the same kind of humour."
