Thunderian Cub Place

13. Feb.05

Lix and WildCat have been in the garden, racing down the hill with a sleigh ,I´ve found in the cellar. WildCat is again showing that he´s really fast, even with his handicap. Sabera was also outside, building a "snowcat" with Yeano´s help. They are not as shy as they were when they arrived.

Next week a first talk is planned with the Clinic, where WildCat will probably get his new leg.

The cubs would like to stay together in one room. WildCat told me this morning, that he, Lix and Sabera would like to stay together a little bit longer.

I´ve no problem with this. We´ll see how they think about it next week(or probably next month?).

17. Feb 05

Taurus is very ill since Monday.He has a flu He´s now resting a little bit. The cubs had been very helpful. When they came from school they brought him what he needed.

The first week of school is running very good, the cubs are attentive and hard working. But WildCat is always a little bit "nervous" when he shall listen without doing anything else (for example: talking to Lix). Tomorrow is their last day of school for this week and at the weekend the blue woods are calling. Let´s hope Taurus will be allright then...

I´m getting better. The Cubs had been in the Blue Woods. They where very excited and it was a full success. We´ve had a lot of fun (Espacially when Lix had fallen into a little stream!) Sabera had collected a few Leaves and nuts. WildCat had fished a Taurean Flatfish, so this is our dinner tonight.Yesterday it was too late when we arrived here. 

The first week of school is over. Yeano and Doc B. are very happy with the resut. The cubs are doing their best and next weekend we´ll see what their favorite lessons are...

The Soccergame was very good! The cubs had a lot of fun and Lix won a Book during the halftime-game. After the game we´ve had a quick dinner at Bob´s .

Now we´re back and Lix, Sabera and WildCat are reading the book and looking at the photos...

Last Weekend was a full sucess! The cubs where fascinated by the large sightseeing tour round the famous Cats Lair. Especially the Sword Chamber was very interesting.

After the Classtrip we´ve had a few tests about our journey ans the results are

Lix: 1+ (as usual, he´s very good in thunderian history)

WildCat: 1 (solid work)

Sabera: 3 (a little bit uninterested...;)

Next week we will get more informations about WildCat´s operation.

It´ll be round 18.July 05.

We´ve, got the date for Wildcat´s operation. It will be at 18:00 on July 19th 4005.

The tests with the prototype have been very promising. The op will last up to 3 hours. Doc B will be an assistant, Doctor Fotharr ,Taurean Medical Services, is the executive operator.

Sabera feels a little bit better this week. Lix had build a few wooden figures ,a few animals and a toy-farm for her.

The cubs grades are at average Levels, they have to practice more...especially mathmatics and reading.

Sunday is Wildcats Birthday! He´s very excited and Doc B. fears, that Wildcat could find the presents. Cat is searching everywhere and asking Lix and Sabera, what presents they have for him.

Until now without success. We´ve invited two special guests. they will arrive sunday morning and i think, Wildcat will be very surprised....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILDCAT!

Wildcat is still very happy about the party. And these are the presents he got:

-A wooden sword with a sandbag for his training. (from Doc B.)

- A new blue T-Shirt with his name on its back (in big red letters) (from Sabera)

- A climbing set (ropes, hooks...) for the next tour to the Mountains. (from Taurus)

- A spaceboard in violet with white stripes on the sides. (from the Thunderkittens)

- A fan-scarf from VfL Osnabrück (from Lix)

Sabera had a small accident. The Kittens climbed up a tree. She tried to climb after the others but she lost grip and fell down the tree. But she´s sturdy and there were only a few scratches. Nothing serious and a moment later she was on the tree again, this time without a accident....

WildCat is very nervous. Next month is his operation planned and today we´ve seen some photos of the nano-mechanical leg.

It´s made of carbonite-transotin and is very ligh t. the leg will get the orders from a microcomputer and nanobots in WildCat´s upper leg, which transforms muscle reactions into electricity and then mechanical reaction. It´s a prototype and we will see, how good it is when its finally "installed"...

Last medical check is planned for 24.June.

WildCat is 100% ready for the operation. His medical check was positive and he will go to the clinic on  17. July for preparations.

He´s very nervous but looking forward to his new future with  two legs.

The operation was successfull! WildCat is sleeping now, we´ll check the connections and servos tomorrow.

Sabera and Lix are now in WildCats room and will wait until he wakes up. Doc B is there, too. He is watching WildCats vital functions during the night...

WildCat is now learning to use the leg. He is really good and can now walk short distances alone.

He will be back home round 20th August.

Sabera has some sleeping problems (nightmares, fears ...)

Doc B is preparing a little psychological test for Sabera, maybe it tells us more about her Problems...

Sabera brought him his books like every schoolday.
