Zur Zeit gibt es viele Fragen zu dem neuen Album aber auch viele Vermutungen über die verschobene Veröffentlichung.
Ich hatte nun die Möglichkeit Tarmo einige dieser Fragen in einem kleinen Mailinterview stellen zu können und er war so freundlich, mir diese zu beantworten.

1. Poisonblack has been at studio to record the new album in may - the album is ready and the fans can't understand why the release date postponed so often?
Who decide such things and why?

- The whole mess with release dates started when we had finished the studio sessions last summer. I'm not gonna bore you with details, but after listening the mastered version of the album for a while at home, we felt that certain things could have been done better on it and it still needed some work. And since Sentenced had already booked studios, arranged schedules with their producer etc. for their upcoming album, we thought that the best solution for both bands is to let them finish their recordings first and after that we fix what has to be fixed on Poisonblack's 2nd album.
I know it's hard for our fans to wait, as it is for us too, because we are also anxious to get the new material released, but we thought that it's wiser to wait a few months and release an album we are 100% satisfied with than to hurry and regret it later.

 

2. There are some changes in the line-up. Your new guitarist is Janne Markus and the new bass player is Antti Remes but who played the bass in studio (on the album).
Was it already with Antti?
3. And the guitar? Was it only Ville?

- Ville plays all the bass and guitar tracks on the album, because when we recorded it, Janne and Antti weren't in the band yet.

 

4. You know Antti also from another band called Solution 13 where you also play the drums. I think some fans be surprised because your name in this biography Tape and not Tarmo??

- "Tape" is my nickname and for some reason I decided to use it when we did that biography. There isn't any special story behind it.

 

5. I read in guestbook there will be also a single (before the album will be released).
Does it remain with it that it will be released a single previously?

- We don't have any confirmed date at the moment, but hopefully the single will be released before the summer.

 

6. Is there already a name for the new Poisonblack album?

- We have some name "candidates", but we haven't made the final decision yet.

 

7. Janne Kukkonen has composed one song for the upcoming PB album before he leaves the band.
Who wrote all the other songs - only Ville?

- Yes, Ville has written the others.

 

8. Will there be new promo pics with the new line up in the near future?

- We haven't planned any photo sessions yet, I guess we'll finish the album first.
