Wir hatten am 25.05.07 auf dem WGT Festival die Chance Ville zu treffen und konnten ihm nach dem Konzert einige Fragen stellen. Diesmal kann ich wirklich Chance sagen, denn da uns die Security partout nicht in den Backstagebereich lassen wollte, mussten wir (Ville, Janne, Sarina & ich) uns in mein Auto zurückziehen. Kein wirklich guter Platz dazu, schon gar nicht bei der Hitze.
We got the chance to meet Ville after the gig at WGT festival and we could ask him some questions. This time I can really say chance. The security didn't allowed us to go backstage and we (Ville, Janne, Sarina & me) went to my car. Not a really good place for that during this heat.
How are you Ville?
Ville: Fine.
Frustrated if you mean in general - because I can't wait to go to the studio...
How did you arrived Leipzig?
Ville: We flew to Berlin and by car from there
Today we are at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen festival in Leipzig. It is a very special festival somehow. Not with only one location and two stages - there are more than 25 locations and over 160 bands will play at this weekend.
Are there also any similar festivals in Finland?
Will there be another single release from "Lust Stained Despair" at all?
Or will your next release be already new material?
Ville: New material
And in september you will go into studio again?
Ville: Ja september 10th
Two new songs were already played at your last gig in Moscow. How many new songs were already written and 'ready to go' for the next album?
Ville: Eight and I guess we gonna do at least five more
Will there be a single-release before the release of the album?
Are the themes love, lust, addiction and despair again?
What are the themes of the new album?
Could you imagine to write about complete other themes? For example politics, war, experiences during your childhood or something else?
Ville, you are a hero for some of your fans and especially for your female fans you are something like a sex symbol. Maybe caused by your lyrics.
Do you feel unwell with this thought? Or do you enjoy this kind of (let's call it) adoration?

If you get the chance to sing a duet with any female singer of your free choice - which female singer would be your number one?
You played recently an acoustics gig with Heikki Lesonen in Rovaniemi.
Was it a spontaneous gig? I haven't heard about it - anyway not until I found some pics.
Poisonblack made a endorsement deal with Gibson guitars. Please tell us something about that deal and what kind of meaning and effect does it have for the band?
How many guitars do you have in your private collection? And which guitar is your favorite?
Ville, if one of your sons wants to be a musician someday - like his father is - what would be your honest and serious advice to him?

An dieser Stelle möchte mich ganz herzlich bei den Jungs bedanken. Es ist organisatorisch einiges nicht so gelaufen wie geplant. Tja, wir sind in Deutschland und hier läuft alles strikt nach Anweisung - keine Ausnahmen und keine "Gnade".
