Ich durfte Ville Laihiala am 30.10.06 im Columbiaclub in Berlin treffen und hatte die Gelegenheit, ihm vor dem Konzert einige Fragen stellen zu können. Viele Fragen wurden schon mind. 33x auf der Promotour beantwortet aber ich hatte dennoch ein paar übrig :-)

1. You are on tour now for more than 5 weeks. How are you Ville - how do you feel??
2. The comments about the tour in the official guestbook are very positive. Did you have >in your opinion< some specially good or worst gigs during this tour?
3. The release date for "Lust Stained Despair" was postponed several times. You record the album 2004 - and 2006 you went again into the studio to finish the album. What was altered and recorded new again?
4. Will there be another single-release in the next weeks?
5. The album was released in Germany 5 days earlier than in Finland. >great for us< Are the Finnish fans disappointed because they had to wait longer? And isn't it rather uncommon to release an album at first in abroad?
6. The line-up changed after your debut album and you are the voice of Poisonblack now.
Please tell us something about the new band members - and from where do you know them!
7. At the Negative album "Sweet and deceitful" you sang the song "Until you're mine" together with Jonne. I like this song and I am nosy - how did it come to this cooperation?
8a. There was also a cooperation with the guys from "Ghost Machinery", Proffessori Heikkero" and there should be another band or a "Sideprojekt" with the name "Breed" but I couldn't find any informations about this band.
May you tell us something about "Breed"?
8b. Was there an album released?
9. I guess that it is much easier to describe feelings and to write lyrics in the own language. Could you imagine to write some songs in Finnish language someday?
10. You said in some Sentenced interviews 'perhaps you take a break after the next Poisonblack Album and you will concentrate more into the studio work'.
Did your plans change meanwhile and can we hope for a next Poisonblack album?
11. You will play all gigs in Germany together with the German Band Lacrimas Profundere. Do you know them and do you know what kind of music they play?

13a. Some weeks before "Lust Stained Despair" released, was your official MySpace page gone online. It seems to be very successful. You've got over
thirty thousand accesses meanwhile.
Is this page managed from Century Media or from another webmaster?
Ville: I think it's the US office of Century Media
13b. but it is an official page?
Ville: As I know - yes.
14. At the end of November the Sentenced DVD "Buried Alive" will be released.

I am much more interested, what do you want to tell the people who constantly compare Poisonblack with Sentenced in their reviews or in your guestbook?
