I met Ville after the gig in Hamburg 25.10.08 and I had the opportunity to ask him some questions again. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to out-filter the drone but I hope you will enjoy it nevertheless again to listen to his answers in MP3 file.

“A Dead Heavy Day” is much heavier, very straight, direct and dirty. Semms the older you become, the harder your music becomes :-)
Are you completely content with the result? Or would you alter something in retrospect?

Ville:

The three Poisonblack albums sounds very different. Have you found THE ultimate Poisonblack style in this album now?

Ville:

What can we expect for the next album and the future?

Ville:

Hate?! And will you ever write about the just positive aspects - maybe a right lovesong?

Ville:

"A Dead Heavy Day" is dedicated to the memory of Hannu Karjalainen. Please tell me a bit about him and the reason for this dedication......

Ville:

In the song “Human Compost” you was backed by Antti Haapsamos voice. How did it come to this cooperation?

Ville:

At the limited version of the album you published some videoclips from your acoustic show which you played in march. That's a great contrast to the album and it shows your music from a softer side.
Will you do something similar again - or was it just a unique thing?

Ville:

Two background singers attend you at the acoustic gig. It sounds very nice together with this kind of music. Have you ever thought about using a female background voice for your album?

Ville: NO

The album cover is very different to the old (more gothic) cover and I think it fits perfect to the music. It mirrors the harder sound and the aggression that we can feel in your vocals this time. What is for you the deeper importance of this different cover artwork?

Ville:

In the "Bear The Cross" video a man tow something with himself and he doesn't get rid of.
Is there any cross you carry with you?

Ville:

You were on tour with Lacuna Coil two times and today you will play with Fear My Thoughts and Dark Tranquillity.
What would be your absolute dream-combination for a tour if you could choose the bands?

Ville:

You told me long time ago that your first Album was "Destroyer" from Kiss. Could you imagine to wear make-up or such a disguise on stage so like Kiss or Lordi?

Ville:

And would you do any naked pictures for a playgirl magazine like Peter Steel from Type 0 Negative did? :D

Ville:

Some month ago you got a lot of very direct and suggestive offers from girls in your official guestbook. They seems to see you as fair game and forget that you have family.
Can you simply laugh about such messages or does it also annoy you somehow?

Ville:

Who decides the setlist for your gigs - and what are the criterions for the selection?

Ville:

Some years ago you cooperate with Ghost Machinery, Negative and Professori Heikkero - are there any plans for other cooperations right now?

Ville:

Well, if a musician asked you, to sing a song for him (or with him) - could he expect your agreement?

Ville:

The following questions are from friends and members in my forum:

From Rózsa:
I noticed that there are numbers & dates (8/23/78) on the cover of ADHD...Do they have a special meaning?
>Ville didn't know which numbers been meant - and I showed him the album<

Ville:

From Vera:
I know Sentenced is dead and buried, but their songs are immortal. Would you find it totally impossible, if somebody would ask you to cover a song of Sentenced on CD or to perform it at a concert?

Ville:

From Mandy:
Could you imagine to use some fragments of poems or phrases which fans give to you in your lyrics - if you see them fit somehow?

Ville:

From Mikko Heikkilä (singer from Sinamore):
Has age any matter to you, when you will decide to quit or will you continue your career until the dead end?

Ville:

From Klaus Flaming (Radio Rock Helsinki):
Have you ever thought what would you like to be carved in your tombstone? Like, for example, Mel Blanc (the voice behind Bugs Bunny and many other cartoons) says "That's All Folks!" and Kurt Vonnegut's "I tried".

Ville:

From Ines:
Did you ever think about using your voice in spoken words?
I mean you have a very good and unique voice when you are speaking.
Did you ever think of working for audio books, for example for children?

Ville:
