Two scenes were made on July 10th, 2003... The Set: a small cafeteria inside the Alpha Base

This image shows actors Markus Röttjer, Stephan Gandyra and Nils Rubel during the shooting of a scene inside the trunk of the Marines' tank.

As already shown in the trailer, this chainsaw will have its arise at the end of DARK MOON 2...

Markus Röttjer seems to be in a very funny mood during the shooting of one of his last scenes with Vanessa Pietsch...

27th of May, 2004; The process of creating a miniature landscape at the scale of 1:35 begins. To have the landscape look real in the movie the trees have to be manufactured in an appropriate size. They do not look real in this image because of the lack of real daylight, which is crucial to any effect shot like this one below:

This was also one of the last effect shots that were done for the movie. This set-up was completed and photographed about 11 days before the first time DARK MOON 2 was ever screened to a small group of people. The first co-worker who was able to test-view the movie was Ingmar Derks, on September 17th, around 2:00 am.
