GLORIA ESTEFAN PREPARES TO LEAVE MIAMI

Cuban superstar Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio are moving away from Miami, to settle in another part of Florida.

The singer -- often dubbed the unofficial mayor of the getaway town -- has outbid designer Ralph Lauren for the Palm Court Hotel in Vero Beach, Fla.

The musical couple are reportedly paying over $20 million for the hotel, which boasts more than 100 rooms right on the beach.

Pals of the pair say they're moving to Vero Beach permanently, after tiring of the hustle and bustle of Miami.

A representative for the Estefans has confirmed the hotel purchase.
