Since bursting into the public eye in 1985 as the enigmatic front woman of the Miami Sound Machine with the hit song Conga, she has been in a state of perpetual, often radical creative evolution. After six years since her last English release, Gloria has undoubtedly managed to outdo herself. Reaffirming her status as one of pop music’s true and enduring icons, Gloria’s new album titled, “Unwrapped”, exposes her incredible talent as a songwriter, singer, and producer. For Cubans, there is no better way to celebrate than with a pork roast, which is an integral part of Christmas Eve festivities in particular.
