Canta HOY … en Machu Picchu
El cantautor peruano Gian Marco le mostró a Gloria la canción Hoy y ella enseguida se enamoró del tema, tanto, que decidió incluirla en su nuevo disco Unwrapped y grabarla en inglés con el nombre de Wrapped.
Pero ahí no quedó todo. Fue tanto su gusto que ella misma quiso grabar el video de la canción en las tierras sagradas de Machu Picchu, y en poblaciones peruanas como Sacsayhuaman y Chinchero. Durante 4 días y contando con cerca de 100 personas, Gloria y Emilio Estefan compartieron con dos colegios de danzas folclóricas.
El álbum 24 en la carrera de Gloria trae 14 canciones, 4 de ellas en español, incluyendo el tema Hoy, que en género de pop romántico narra hermosamente el sentimiento de nostalgia por un amor que ya no está.
Nosotros te mostramos las imágenes del video de su primer sencillo, donde se observan aspectos y paisajes de la tierra de los incas y donde muy pocas veces se han realizado filmaciones de este tipo.
El disco titulado Unwrapped estará disponible al público el próximo 23 de septiembre.
Esta que ni ver la luz de dia. Ha estado metirda en el estudio 24 horas grabando su nevo disco en ingles. Hace mas de 6 anos que no sacaba uno. Pero siendo una mujer ejmplar en todo, particualarmente en la maternidad, la sacamos del estudio para hablar del tema. Antes de eso, Gloria se ha tomado una pusa larga para escribir la letras de todas las canciones y algo mas.....
Una Mama como todas
Lo que supongo hiciste mucho en este tiempo fue ser mama.....
"Si, pud disfutar eso tanto..........".
Que pudiste hacer que no habias hecho antes??
"Primero, llevar la nina a la escuela todos los dias y recogerla. Emilio y yo todos las mananas llevamos a Emily y yo todas las tardes voy por ella; llevarla a sus clases de tae kwan do, pasar tiempo con ella. Todas las mananas le preparo su lunch, su desayuno, que como alguito, porque es como su hermano y yo que no nos gusta comer por la mananas. Y lo disfruto muchisimo".
A que juegan en la tarde?
"A las dos nos gusta mucho el bote; tenemos uno bein pequeno y otro mas grande y salimos por la bahia. El otro dia le dije a la nana que la recogiera y, para sorprenderla, yo la espere en una marina por su escuella y nos fuimos a pasear toda la tarde. Ella sabe manajar el bote, saba las reglas. Paramos en una islita y nos banamos en la playa. Tambien me siento con ella, hacemos la tarea y jugamos a lo que ella quiera. Lo que hace cualquier madre con sus hijos".
Estando Nayib mas grande e independiente, la persona que mas disfutas es a Emily?
"Si, ya Nayib vive solo. Lo disfruto de distinta manera a el; es muy apegado a mi tambein, y aunque esta haciendo sus cosas, hablamos todos los dias, esta preparndome una sorpresa. Disfruto a Nayib, porque estoy viendo realizados tantos anos de empeno y una relacion que tanto cuide con el, y ahora estoy veindo los frutos de eso, en el que ya es un hombre. "Pero en cuestion de pasar teimpo juntos con la Beba, ademas de ser mujeres, somos muy parecidas en el caracter, fisicamente se parece a mi, hablamos mucho, tenemos el mismo sentido del humor, somos muy afines".

Tambein pasaste mucho teimpo con Nayib?
"A Nayib tambein lo disfrute muchisimo, fue hijo unico por 15 anos. Se puede decir que he tenido dos hijos unicos".
A que tipo de cosecha te refieres con Nayib?
"Communicacion mayormente, que el se siente muy comodo para hablar con migo de lo que sea, hay un respecto muy grande de ambas partes. Es un nino que donde quiera que voy, siempre alguin me dice also lindo de el, por ejemplo, cuado se fue de Los Angles a Londres tuvimos que ayudarlo a vender su casa y un dia una senora mayor, de la casa de al lado, se acerco y me dijo: no sabia que era tu hijo, pero todos los dias me preguntaba si necesitaba algo, todos los dias me conversaba, se preocupaba por mi, es un ninp lindo, debes estar muy orgullosa de el". Como madre, no me puedo sentir mas feliz que lo que en ese momento".

Que tan fundamental es tu condicion de madre?
"Yo diria que es lo que mas soy, y no solo con mis jihos, sino que tiendo a ser maternal con mi familia , con mis animales, hasta con mis fans. Me siento muy a gusto en el papel de madre; yo cero que es gran parte de quein soy yo".

Tuviste dos embrazos tan alejados, en que se parecen?
"El primer bebe lo planee para que naciera el 1, 2, o 3 de Septembre y nacio el 2, la segunda no me funciono tan bein el plan".

"Si, yo les dije voy a salir en estado en diciembre, yo sabia. "Los primeros 5 anos me dedique totalmente a el, hacia su desayuno, lo llevaba a la escuela. Despues la carrera se puso agitada, pero el siempre viajaba con nosotros. Menos una vez que se quedo por la escuela y yo le dije a Emilio: "No puedo resister esto". Nos veiamos los fines de sermana donde fuera. No volvio a pasar mas. "Con Emily he tendio muchos mas lujos, el lujo de escoger que hago, que no hago, el lujo de no trabajar si no quiero. En ese momento, con Nayib, habia que cimentar la carrera que ahora me permite escoger, que es lo que he hecho. Me he relajado muchisimo, la gira de 2000 decidi no hacerla por quedarme con Emily".
Como te fue de alumbramientos?
"Con Nayib trate 26 horas y tuvo que ser cesarea, porque yo era muy pequena y el venia grande". "Con Emily trate, dije "Bueno, son 15 anos despues y llegue a 4 centimtero de dilatacion y paso lo mismo. Anque era chiquita no pude, pero lo disfrute mucho".
Dos hijos criados igual pero con caractes diferentes
Has sido el mismo tipo de madre con tus dos hijos?
"Igual, la unica diferencia es que uno es hombre y la otra es mujer. Pero Nayib simpre fue muy carinoso; tenia 2 anitos y me tria una flor y cada vez que hablamos no cuelga ni anque discutamos sin decirme "Te quero mami", es muy bueno, y ambos son iguales,. Tienen caracteres diferentes, pero los crie igual, con las mismas reglas y la misma consistencia que para mi es los mas importante tener consistencia y ser justo con ellos y explicarles, hablamos mucho".
Te quedaste con ganas de mas hijos?
"Simpre quise tener mas hijos porque me encantan, pero no hubiera podido darles tanta atencion a ambos. Si tuviera otro no me podria dedicar mucho a Emily".
"Ya puedo ser abuela"
Adoptaries o esperas a ser abuela?
"Ya ahorita ser abuela, !Lo mato si lo hace! (RISA). Yo siempre le he dicho a Nayib que se cuide mucho, porque el dia que tenga un hijo, quiera o no a esa mujer, sea o no un accidente, esse nino es su sangre y el teine que velar por ese hijo toda su vida entera. Y va a ser parte de la familia asi que mas vale que sea una experiencia que el busque y que no deje esa responsabilidad solo en manos de la mujer. Asi que si quere un hijo, que lo tenga, perfecto, pero no por no haber sido irresponsable".

"First, take my daughter to school every day and pick her up. Emilio and I take Emily to school every day and I go get her every afternoon; I take her to her tae kwan do classes, spend time with her.
