When I was a baby
I was born in Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. I graduated in Geography Dept. at Beijing Normal University in 1988. After my graduation, I used to be a news reporter, editor in the News or Supplementary Dept. of a provincial newspaper, used to be PR personnel, English teacher, English secretary, English interpreter/translator in different companies, used to be a project assistant, financial assistant & administrative assistant in an international cooperation project, etc. At present, I am a staff in a Sino-French joint venture and a part-time English teacher in an English training school. Actually, I have been used to be a "professional drifter" :-) since I got my 1st part-time job as PR personnel in a joint venture in 1992.

A trip to Beihai Silver Beach during 2nd-3rd August, 2003.
Why do I prefer to be a job-hopper? Maybe you are curious to know the reason. My answer is-----
First of all, I enjoy a busy and exciting lifestyle, furthermore, my character & experiences make me like to work where I am needed, respected & appreciated. Besides, I like to face things challengable and uncertain, it can maximize my potential and enrich my experience. Imagining that you have the chance to work in different places with different people, engaging in different matters during different period of time (though sometimes you are quite reluctant and even forced to make a change), is it exciting and fantastic?
How about my character? I am simple, complex, generous, selfish, unattractive, beautiful, lazy...
I live in Nanning City of Guangxi Province at present. Guangxi is located in the south of China, Nanning lies in the tropical zone of North Hemisphere.
Nanning is nicknamed Green City, it has around three million inhabitants and is truly a tropical paradise. The city is located in the deep south of china with one hour by air from Hong Kong, four hours from Guilin and two hours from Beihai (beaches) by national highway.

May 4, 2004 in South Lake Park of Nanning
My residence is near the beautiful South Lake Park in Nanning. Here, peaches & apples weigh down the tree brances in the clear Summer days; serene lakes are dappled by sunlight. Besides, trees & grass are green & flowers are blooming throughout the whole year, these make the city & its countryside bright with colors. In Spring, everyone longs to go outside & enjoy the season, many peple find it hard to concentrate on their work; while in Autumn, the color of it is beyond words to describe. In addition, Nanning International Arts Festival of Folk Songs is held here annually in Nov., artists from home and abroad gather here at that period of time and ethnic performances & activities are shown & taken here. The festival normally lasts for around 1 week.

May 7, 2004, my friends and I were invited by the owner of a private mountain villa at the outskirt of Nanning

Most of the time, the city is either warm or hot throughout the year. If you are a foreigner, you will have the gourmet's luck to taste a variety of delicious cuisine & fruits in different seasons while residing in or visiting Nanning.
