The Pregnancy - how it all began....   In December 2000, shortly after the Christmas holidays, I started to feel a constant nauseous feeling. At first I thougt that maybe the Christmas goose or the large amount of cookies were the reason for this feeling... On the 30 th of December (my husbands birthday...) I decided to make a home pregnancy- test. As you may have guessed already, the test was postive. My husband was really, really happy (if I would have known this, I could have saved some money on his birthday present ...) and I was a little bit shocked, because we had only decided weeks before, that we would try to become pregnant. We gave the good news to our friends and family on that very night... The first ultrasound picture in January showed that there was really a little person beginning its life... We began to make a lot of plans for our little one... The first ultrasound picture of Celia beginning of January 2001... You can not even see the little dot in this picture...   In March we decided to take a vacation with our friends. We went up to Denmark and we thought that this would be our last trip as a couple. We imagined what it would be like next year with our little one with us on vacation... our first vacation as a family.... Me and Celia in Denmark end of April 2001... With so much hope and love in my heart...   In April a "3 D" ultrasound was performed on me, and we found out that we are going to have a daughter. We were both very happy, because secretly we both wished for a little girl... It also helped us to finally concentrate on searching for a female name and we both agreed on CELIA NOELLE...   Celia Noelle - 22 weeks of pregnancy - she has mama´s nose..   Our friends and family were enjoying the pregnancy with us and everybody was desperatly waiting for Celia´s arrival... Celia was very active in my belly and our friends often saw her kicks and movements in me. We cherished this little human being growing in me and we were amazed about nature... It was such a unique feeling!   Celia´s nest at 38 weeks of pregnancy....   The pregnancy was totally without complications, except for a little high blood pressure sometimes. But this was mainly due to my work situation at the office. But except for that, every medical appointment, every urine culture and every ultrasound was perfectly okay. Soon we started to buy all the babyclothes, diapers, Celia´s little cradle, toys, bottles, baby-phone, carseat ... We decorated her room with so much love in our hearts... We already got a lot of presents for Celia from all our friends and altogether we were getting ready for Celia´s arrival. On one wall of Celia´s room we put her name in little colored wooden letters... We had everything ready for her... During the last days of my pregnancy we were often standing in Celia´s room with shiny eyes and with a little bit of fear, how it would be like with Celia here with us during her first days at home... She was our first child, so it was probably no wonder that we were a bit anxious... The due date was set for the 27th of August 2001... The weeks before that date Celia and I had to suffer a lot under the heat of summer and I was more and more waiting for her "to come out". But Celia was in no hurry and she seemed to enjoy the time in me... (maybe she knew that this would be our only time...) The due date passed ... and nothing happened... no signs of labor....
