films: I've seen many films that I liked and it's hard to decide on one.
I loved "Goodbye Lenin" ( latest German history shown in a funny way ) and "The life of the others" ( in a less funny way )
And I really like the German comedian Loriot.
food: Chinese + Italian
drink: Pina Colada
favourite countries and holidays: Hard to decide... I really loved Norway, but I'm also very fond of Spain + Italy and these places differ so much! Most impressive, however, were the U.S. and Canada
( I've been to N.Y., Toronto and Ohio ) on the one hand and on the other Russia ( my father was born in Königsberg/Kaliningrad and me and my family went there for a
holiday a couple of years ago ) and Lithuania
For some reason one holiday in Italy ( Ventimiglia, to be precise ) was also very special - I guess you can imagine why. He is a nice memory, and unfortunately the only one of my ex - if I can call him that - I never heard from or about anymore. I do not mean that I am in constant touch with my other ex boyfriends but every now and then I hear from them or learn about them from mutual acquaintances how they are doing. Anyway, I was told that in Italy it is rather unusual that man and women can be just friends or even less than that, acquaintances, especially if there was something going on between them way back when.
In any case, I would also love to know how the other people I knew in that small town and in Bologna are doing now.
What else? I love pets, especially cats (had two very lovely ones, Pünktchen and Lissy... they were real cuties, I mean Lissy still is but unfortunately Pünktchen died end of 2005 ) and would like to get in touch with other cat owners and / or people who like cats although they don't have one of their own, also for mutual catsitting
I would also like to hear from people with similar interests and a penchant for foreign
languages and cultures
Greetings to: My boyfriend who is really a wonderful man and all my family and friends
