interview

20.11.2002
A little message for y'all: Thanks to all the fans for your amazing support thus far. You make all this worth it a thousand times over. First things first: You may have noticed that Frank, Rich and Jason are no longer with us. We wish them all continued success. I'm planning some small acoustic shows in NYC before the year's out. You'll be the first to know once the dates are confirmed. Of course, everyone needs to go and hang out with their families over Christmas, me included. I'm going to take a week or two to enjoy a bit of turkey..... Come January, I'll be doing new shows, new recording and who knows.... Maybe even new haircuts. Looking forward to seeing you then. Luv IZLER (from the official site!)

Here is a little "interview" i sent to Fil..have fun reading it ...and Fil, thanks for taking the time to answer the questions!
When did you decide to form your own Band? I'd always planned to , I just spent so much time touring with Robbie that this has been my first opportunity. Your Band is called "IZLER"...that is a derive from your Surname, isn´t it? Was that your Idea? Actually, our producer Mike Pelanconi started it for a laugh and it's stuck. On your Website www.izler.com are two Songs called "Superblind" and "you are"...have you got any plans to release a single and an Album in the near Future? The album hasn't been recorded yet so it'll be a while, but the wait will be worth it! Before you started with your own Band, you played bass and later Guitar for Robbie Williams. What is your result when you look back? Less patience than I had before..... And more phone numbers. ... you left the RW Band completely now or would you play again for him if he starts a Tour after his break?! This is my band now, my family. Rob and I remain good mates. Back to IZLER...are you writing all Songs by yourself? Most of the songs are written by me. Now I'm starting to write with Rich as well. What kind of people do you wanna reach with your music? All of 'em! Even the deaf ones. you played a few live Gigs with IZLER already, can you discribe the feeling how it is to be 'The Frontman/the Star' now? Sweatier, sexier and it smells better. Can your Fans in Europe (Germany) hope to see you live on stage soon? I hope so. We definitely plan to get there some day. It's a big world, it may take a while! Why did you left London and moved to New York? I've always loved NY, it's such a fucking great city. It's a very inspiring place to live and write. And the food's better. Are you still in contact with Rob or the other Guys from the RW Band? We speak now and then. Love 'em all though, love 'em all. You are from Chzechoslovakia...can you still speak Czech? I still speak Czech with my folks. You´ve got lots of female Fans ..i guess they all want to know: Are you still a single or have you found your Dreamwoman already ? ;-) Free young and single baby! And Loving it. Do you like to say something to your Fans out there.....? Thanks for your support! Without the fans, there's no band so thank you. All the best - FIL copyright by webmaster!!!
